The Portal — 1-Day

Community Gathering

A day of prayer, purification, wisdom, and song with our Huni Kuin family

This one‑day gathering is designed as a gentle, grounded introduction to the land, the medicines, and the living traditions held at Libélula.

Held within a single, well‑paced day, The Portal offers a space for prayer, purification, learning, and connection — without the commitment of a multi‑day retreat. It is an opportunity to arrive, slow down, and reconnect in community, held by the land and our Indigenous collaborators.

This day is accessible, intentional, and deeply respectful — a threshold moment rather than a full ceremonial immersion.

This gathering is not a full retreat or deep medicine immersion — it is a doorway, designed to be supportive, contained, and accessible.

How the Day Is Held

The one‑day gathering follows a clear, intentional arc, moving from arrival and grounding, into purification and learning, and closing with prayer and integration.

Because the container is short, pacing and clarity are prioritised. Guests are supported to participate at their own edge, with choice and consent woven throughout the day.

No part of the experience is compulsory, and care is taken to ensure the nervous system is respected at all times.

The Experience

Across the day, participants move through:

  • Purification through Temazcal

  • Learning and listening through an Indigenous wisdom circle

  • Grounding and clearing through Hapé (rapé)

  • Connection and uplift through prayer and song

  • Rest and nourishment through shared meals and time on the land

Rather than aiming for peak experience, the day is held as a relational encounter — with the earth, with tradition, and with community.

Many guests leave feeling clearer, calmer, more present, and more connected to what matters.

Ceremony and Indigenous Leadership

This gathering is held in collaboration with Huni Kuin Txanas, who carry living lineages of prayer, song, and forest knowledge.

Their guidance is relational, humble, and grounded — rooted in listening rather than performance. Songs and prayers are shared as medicine: for protection, cleansing, grounding, and connection.

This is an opportunity to receive directly from living tradition, within a respectful and well‑held container.

Care, Safety, and Consent

Safety, consent, and ethical holding are central to this day.

All practices are offered with clear guidance and choice. Guests are never required to participate in anything that doesn’t feel aligned, and stepping out to rest is always welcome.

The day is trauma‑informed and held by an experienced team, with attention to pacing, hydration, grounding, and integration throughout.
