Land & Nature
A Living Landscape
Libélula is surrounded by forested mountains, flowing water, and living rainforest.
Here, nature is not something you look at — it is something you are held within.
From dawn to dusk, the land moves with sound, light, and life. Birds call, water flows, insects hum. There is a feeling of constant presence — gentle, alive, and grounding.
Mountains & Forest Views
The land opens out to wide views of forested mountain ridges, shifting with light throughout the day. Sunrise brings softness and clarity; evenings settle slowly as the forest darkens and the air cools.
There is space here — to look far, to breathe deeply, and to feel perspective return.
Water — Rivers, Waterfalls & Swimming
Across the land are private waterfalls, natural pools, and quiet swimming places.
Water moves constantly here — through streams, over rocks, and into still basins where you can float, cool the body, and listen.
These places invite rest, reflection, and simple presence with the element of water.
Wildlife & Birds
The land is rich with life.
Scarlet macaws fly overhead daily, their colours and calls marking the rhythm of morning and evening. Hummingbirds move between flowers, capuchin monkeys are often seen in the trees, and butterflies and dragonflies weave through the air.
Birdsong is constant — a living soundscape that reminds you you are never separate from the natural world.
Trails, Exploration & Stillness
Paths move gently through the land, leading to:
quiet forest corners
stream crossings
lookout points
hidden places to sit and be
Whether walked slowly or explored with curiosity, these trails invite connection — without pressure, without agenda.
Gardens & Care for the Land
Alongside the wild rainforest are well‑kept flower and food gardens, grown with care and intention.
These gardens:
provide nourishment
create habitat for birds and insects
support biodiversity
reflect our commitment to stewardship
Wild and tended spaces exist side by side here — in balance.
Protected by Surrounding Parkland
The land is bordered by protected national park, helping preserve the surrounding forest and wildlife corridors.
This wider protection supports one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse regions, including a significant population of scarlet macaws, as well as countless bird, plant, and animal species.
Being held within this protected landscape is an essential part of what keeps the land vibrant and alive.
